Privacy Policy
Skaldox ("we", "our", "the app") helps users identify products and find supplier listings.
Information we collect
- Account information: email, optional display name, and a hashed password for accounts we create. We do not store passwords in plain text.
- Search inputs: photos, text queries, and optional URLs you submit.
- Device identifiers: a hashed device identifier for rate limiting and product improvement.
- Usage signals: optional satisfaction feedback and listing open events when learning features are enabled.
- Billing and credits: Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, payment status, and credit balances when you purchase. Card numbers are handled by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers.
- Local device data: saved listings, search history, and secure session tokens on your device.
How we use information
- Authenticate you and manage account access.
- Run product identification and supplier search.
- Operate credits, subscriptions, and purchases.
- Improve search quality and prevent abuse.
- Operate, secure, and support the Service and comply with law.
Third-party services
We use subprocessors for cloud AI, supplier/marketplace data, hosting/infrastructure, and payments (Stripe). They process only what is needed under their own policies. Ask for the current list at Skaldox.bussines@gmail.com.
Data retention
Account, search, and billing records may be kept for operations, support, and learning features. Local data stays on your device until cleared, account deletion, or uninstall.
Your choices
- Clear local search history from Settings when available.
- Delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account).

Children's privacy
Skaldox is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use HTTPS, secret management, hashed passwords, and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International processing
Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. When the in-app legal version changes, you may need to accept again before continuing.
